The most famous section of the wall is the Badaling section, which was built during the Ming Dynasty.

Beijing International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world, and it can be a challenge to figure out how to get from the airport to the Great Wall of China. But don’t worry – we’ve got you covered.
There are a few different ways to reach the Great Wall from Beijing International Airport, and the best way will depend on your budget and your travel plans.
If you’re looking for the quickest and easiest way to get to the Great Wall, you can take a taxi or an Didi which is similar to Uber.
A taxi from the airport to the Great Wall will cost you around 150 RMB, and an Uber will cost you around 100 RMB.
If you’re looking to save some money, you can take the Airport Express train to the Dongzhimen station, and then take a bus or a taxi from there to the Great Wall.
The Airport Express train costs 25 RMB per person, and the bus or taxi from Dongzhimen to the Great Wall will cost you around 40 RMB.
If you’re looking for a more adventurous way to get to the Great Wall, you can take the subway from the airport to the Dongzhimen station, and then take a bus or a taxi from there to the Great Wall.

If you’re not renting a car, no worries – you can also take a bus or taxi from the airport to Tiananmen Square. There are plenty of signs to help you find the right bus, and the ride will take about an hour. Once you’re at Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City is just a short walk away.

There are two main options for getting to The Summer Palace from the airport: by taxi or by subway.

Once you have your ticket, board the train and get off at the stop for The Summer Palace. The trip should take around 90 minutes and will cost around 25 RMB.

The fragrant hills are a great place to hike, and there are many trails to explore. I highly recommend spending a day or two here, as it is truly a magical place.

The most direct route would be to take a taxi from the airport straight to the Fragrant Hills. This will take around an hour and a half, depending on traffic, and will cost you somewhere in the range of 200-250 RMB.
Alternatively, you could take the Airport Express Train into the city, and then transfer to a bus that will take you to the Fragrant Hills.
This will take a bit longer, as you’ll first need to navigate your way to the train station and then find the right bus, but it will be cheaper, as the train ride will only cost you 25 RMB.
Finally, if you’re feeling adventurous, you could always try to take the public bus. This is definitely the cheapest option, as the bus ride will only cost you 2 RMB, but it will also be the most challenging, as you’ll need to figure out which bus to take and where to get off. If you’re up for the challenge, more power to you!
